The trickiest part of the pandemic for me. I have a question for you. My kids are tucked in by 7 but my daughters, 3 and 5 year olds, share a room and some nights are up playing until after 8pm. Do you recommend trusting them to know their needs and have that extra time to play and get out that last bit of energy? Or set firm limits, maybe remove toys from their room and keep tucking them back in when they get up to play? My 3 year old naps most days but I worry that my 5 year old will end up chronically over tired. They wake up around 6 every morning. Some days my 3 year old doesn’t nap and then is asleep immediately after tucking her in around 6:15. Then my 5 year old won’t play, but goes right to sleep. Their tuck in times are staggered. I’m not sure if it will all balance out and be fine or if they need me to be a firm leader and set stricter limits.
