My daughter is 2 years and 3 mo old. I had to leave her dad to protect us from an abusive situation. So I moved very far away from him and we are staying with family. She is crying for him every day, begging me to bring her back home, hitting me, crying over everything many times a day. I have been following your advice for months and it is always helpful. I was so glad to see you have an article on this subject. I have been doing this but with a broken heart, feel so guilty for her pain. Reading this helps me to see her emotional release as a good thing. Please keep doing what you are doing. You are REALLY helping me in so many ways. Blessings.

I am new to your writing but am loving it so far..I’m a first time mom at 39 to a precious 1 year old boy. His dad and I aren’t together and custody orders say Nathaniel has to go have overnight with his dad once a week now. 🙁 I cosleep and breastfeed at night. I don’t want to give him up for a night a week or ever..daytime visits are fine. I have been allowed to be there so far at night. But might not be soon. Any advice would help..thank you! I look forward to reading your books and articles!
