Hi Janet. I love your work and the respectful parenting you teach us. I “tried” many different parenting approaches and none seemed to land well with myself or my children. When I first listened to your podcast and the approach to respectful parenting, my heart sang; it really resonated with me. I wanted to share a quote I have either heard or my mind simply connected the dots as I listened to your many podcasts: “If we change how we perceive them, we will be ready to receive them.” This podcast made of think of that, especially your comment that every expression our child share with us means something.
