I always enjoy discussions of hard data & clinical trials. However, I lost it when she said the depressed mother in the Strange Situation experiment “wasn’t winning Mother of the Year anytime soon” lol! That probably should have been for the inside voice not the outside one.

I found this transcript so interesting that I’m now partway through the book.

I was wondering whether anyone has any views on possible impacts on secure atttachmrnt arising from covid eg when a parent has to isolate away from an infant or has to care for an infant while wearing a face mask.

I was also wondering whether secure attachment in a first child can be negatively impacted when a second child is born, particularly for a single parent who can’t respond immediately simultaneously to both children.
